Requests for Records
Requests for public records must be submitted to Jefferson Township using the Pennsylvania Standard Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) Request Form. The RTKL Request Form must be fully completed, specific in what records are included in the request, and should be addressed to the Open Records Officer. A Pennsylvania Standard Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) Request Form can be downloaded from the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records website at http://www.openrecords.pa.gov
Please note that there is no charge for records that are readily available electronically, however, there is a per page fee for copies of records that are not readily available electronically. Certified copies may be subject to additional costs.
You may submit your Pennsylvania Standard Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) Request Form by:
U.S. Mail or delivery to Jefferson Township, 670 Cedar Grove Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021
